You now have an option for how you complete the Safe Driving module training. We are now offering the immersive VR session, this immerses drivers in realistic, risk-based scenarios without the need for on-road cycling.

After completing the course, drivers will be able to:

  • Explain the moral, legal and economic reasons for safe driving

  • Apply defensive driving techniques to share the road safely

  • Reduce risk across urban, rural and motorway environments

  • Recognise how driver fitness, health, distraction and impairment impact safety

  • Understand the vehicle technology and equipment that support safer driving

FORS Professional Safe Driving replaces the previous Safe Urban Driving (SUD) and Van Smart courses, offering a single, updated programme that reflects the realities of today’s road environment.
